How we use cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We group them into three purposes. Strictly necessary cookies are always active — without them the site cannot work, and under § 25 (2) TDDDG they need no consent. Statistics and advertising cookies are set only if you allow them in our cookie banner, and you can allow one without the other.
Strictly necessary (always active)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| zertio_consent | Remembers which purposes you allowed, so you are not asked again | 12 months |
Both are first-party cookies set by zertio.de. Blocking them will prevent you from staying signed in.

These providers may also set cookies on their own domains when you are logged in to their services. Those are outside our control; you can manage them in your account settings on the platform concerned, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Select "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. You can switch individual purposes on or off, or refuse everything optional. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and we delete the cookies belonging to any purpose you switch off. Refusing has no effect on your use of Zertio.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a setting to block third-party cookies generally. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.
